Perfect for RV transfer from shore power to inverter

Yes, it can switch hot and neutral of two lines, but why switch neutrals? My RV is setup for 115V, so all connections on the right side of the switch are ganged together to be the outgoing hot 115V. The left side of the switch upper two terminals are the incoming 30 Amp hot from shore power, and the left side lower terminals are ganged together for the incoming hot from my 2500W inverter. My outgoing hot then feeds the normal circuit breaker panel of the RV and I switch off the unnecessary…

Works for me as a manual transfer switch

This Works for me as a manual transfer switch, I have solar input on 1, and grid power on 2, the output goes to the RV. I can switch from one or the other swiftly enough so some electronic device I have doesn't shut off. However, I wasn't sure just how to place the wireing on the screw terminals on this from looking at the switch, or even using an ohm meter, fortunately there was a review on this switch listing that shows where to place wires, and that worked. So far the switch has no problems…

not for medium duty electric power

I updated this review after I performed a failure analysis on the switch. Small terminals only accommodate small forked contacts limiting the gauge of current that this switch can carry.

The product is not very good

It came up without screws I had no way to get the work done using until I went to another store to get screws which supposed to come with the product.

Built Tough - used as an RV 30A Manual Transfer Switch

Perfect manual RV transfer switch from shore power to Inverter, and disable Converter-Charger when Inverter is ON. Use with ready made 4x6 enclosure from other vendor.

It bigger than you think

I did used this as a transfer switch on my RV. One side shore power the other side solar inverter. It serves that purpose well.As others have reviewed, the switch is well made and sturdy, but larger than you may think.I used a thin sheet of luan to mouth it and it worked out well.
