Nice project to finish off my VW exhaust system project

This resonator along with the Magnaflow muffler and removing the center muffler/resonator ("trunk") on my 2012 VW Jetta produced the sound that I also wanted and smoothed out the acceleration a bit

Pros
  • Complete kit
Cons
  • There are new competitors

Just do it ! for performance parts and accessories

A quality resonator that was easily replaced with a 2011 G37x by removing the originals and installing about 11" of tubing. Worth the effort. The car sounds fantastic, we also removed the muffler. There needs to be more power now for the car to breathe. would do it again

Pros
  • Confident
Cons
  • Some bugs

Sound improvement in resonators

I got them after correcting my maxims with real duals. Without the standard resonator, the sound was too hoarse and crackled a lot, making my Max sound like garbage, especially when I put it in. After installation, the exhaust sound became much cleaner, with almost no wheezing.

Pros
  • Easy-to-read control panel
Cons
  • There are nuances

Add a cool sound, hold the rasp.

Added a nice buzz to my aftermarket exhaust. The factory resonator drowned out the beautiful tone I was looking for. This was the solution if you like loud or light claps without the squeaks. This can also be used to give the original exhaust a sportier sound. For those who are removing resonators for this imported sound, check out this to fill that gap.

Pros
  • This is amazing
Cons
  • Not everything fits

Yes, it's worth it.

Looks very strong, well built. When I gave it to the welder in the muffler workshop, he was very impressed, he said he had never seen such a beautiful resonator. Noise coming from my free used muffler. It did a great job muffling any sharp edges of the exhaust pipe, but there was no escaping the terrible rumble of the mufflers. Part A++, but that won't fix the irreparable. I recommend.

Pros
  • Acceptable
Cons
  • Miscellaneous Miscellaneous

Great product and does exactly what it was designed to do

I bought these for my 2013 Infiniti G37 sedan to use with Stillen Gen 3 CAI, Stillen HFC and a Stillen Cat Back exhaust system. When I introduced the high-flow cats, there was a slight rattle and buzz in the system. The addition of these resonators resulted in the elimination of ALL the rasp and drone. I can't stress enough how well they worked and would recommend them to anyone looking to ditch a rasp and/or drone.

Pros
  • Decent performance
Cons
  • Crumpled packaging
