Oh My God! A bushel of apples turned into applesauce with minimal work. I highly recommend it. Next time I will try the sauce.

Not only does this strainer work great and wash as well as it can as it is a food grade strainer, there is a card on the box to clean it! My brain exploded. Ha ha. We used it for 77 liters of applesauce yesterday and the motor was great.

Words cannot describe how much I love this item. I bought it with an electric motor attachment - a MUST if you plan to grind a lot of fruit. I just used it last weekend to grind 4 boxes of pears and what would have taken hours by hand this guy took maybe 10 minutes.

I am very disappointed with this. I bought this to make grape jam and applesauce. The motor didn't work with the device at all, I had to use the handle. I've washed, cleaned and dried it but it still tends to rust. I finally got it working with grape jam, but when I tried it with applesauce, it just didn't work. A very big waste of money!

This is a game changer for me. First I used a hand crank. Very easy to turn. Then I had to make semi-passaged tomatoes and the motor was hooked up. I was able to prep my glasses while he did his job! It was easy to assemble, connect to my island, use, take apart and clean. zero leaks. I've seen people say he didn't extract all the goodies from the tomatoes, but I always made the ingredients twice because there were always goodies left! The second time they are dry!

Great job separating the sauce from the skins and seeds. The engine works well but there is too much movement for me. It swings a good inch off center. I'm mechanically inclined; I want to keep it straight; This move just doesn't look right. There's also a bit of a leak at the junction of the screen and the case. I've found that the washing machine seems too big for the surface it's standing on; maybe that's why it's leaking? Still gave 4 stars as it made great applesauce! Katy L

This unit works great and has made my job a lot easier as I no longer have to spin for hours. I read other reviews so I tried turning the engine off from time to time and I had no problems with that. The only reason I didn't give 5 stars is because it was only used one day. Both the pads they sent are ruined so tomorrow I'll pull the old one I have out of the closet and spend the day finishing it. my tomatoes, it was a bit disappointing
