Dead when arrived. - Turntable

Ordered from stock and said to be in very good condition with a few minor blemishes. In fact, I received a player that would not turn on. There was no visible damage to the unit but unfortunately there was no electricity. I usually have good luck with stock shops but I think sometimes they ship unreliable goods.

Pros
  • Fingers crossed
Cons
  • Off fashion

Quality sound on turntables and accessories

I'll admit it's a little difficult to figure out how to turn it on (you have to hold "Power" unnecessarily long) and switch it to Bluetooth function. But the sound quality is excellent, and Victrola is obviously an excellent brand. I bought another one a few years ago and the sound quality was terrible. But this is quality. I just love having a turntable in my house! That pleases my ❤.

Pros
  • Don't waste too much time
Cons
  • Not as thick as other picks

Unfortunately Victrola is not Victrola your grandparents.

Victrola is unfortunately not the Victrola of your grandparents. There is a loud noise inside the player and the device does not turn on. After figuring out how to get there, I pulled out a 1/2" screw that looked like it was a hot glue mounting point and screw head?! .

Pros
  • Inspires trust
Cons
  • Not everything fits

Drive jitters, poor sound quality, cheap construction

Reading the reviews before purchasing this product made me think this might be a good deal. However, once I turned it on, I realized why it was so cheap. The main problem with the Victrola Avery record player I received was that the record wobbled (when it was brand new!). In addition, the construction is much cheaper than expected. The sound quality is basically all high and quite distorted at any volume. The tonearm locking mechanism is a very thin piece of plastic that breaks easily after…

Pros
  • High marks for support and durability from testers
Cons
  • Very expensive

Too much money for bad design, cheap looks and bad sound quality

The sound quality is terrible. Very tinny and it has a quality that requires the volume to be kept down to handle it and be able to hear the conversation. I like making the sound loud enough for the whole house to hear. The built in speaker I could have overlooked by plugging better speakers into it, but 1 star because it poses a risk to your recordings. On the first test, the arrow was pointing backwards and sounded very harsh with a lot of feedback. When I raised my hand, the needle fell out…

Pros
  • Handsfree
Cons
  • Long time
