I saw these embroidery scissors in a photo of an artist friend and immediately fell in love with them. I asked her where she bought the scissors and ordered the same the next day. The seller sent quickly and they are so beautiful. i love detail I would order from this seller again without hesitation.

They are beautiful, beautifully designed, but very hard and uncomfortable to use. I don't know if they need to be lubricated with oil or grease, or if the screw holding them together is loose, but they're just hard to use. I actually ordered another pair as well to give as gifts, they look like a bird but they work so smoothly and are very pretty too, I keep them to myself and if I can ever get them to work I will pass on as a gift.

I don't often buy scissors. When I do that, I expect them to do what scissors do: cut effectively. I bought these particular scissors partly because I needed them for my sewing and craft projects and partly because I thought they looked really cute and pretty. When they arrived they were half out of the package due to several holes. So be careful. While the handles are cast veneer, the blades are very real and very sharp. They were well tightened.
