Lots of card slots and pockets. I counted ten card slots total, not counting the ID slot. There is a zippered coin pocket, a bill length zippered pocket, two bill compartments on the back, a small pocket on the outside and maybe something else I missed. The chain is fairly light but seems strong enough for the purpose. I was concerned about the adapter ring so I replaced my own hardware but I don't think it was really necessary.
