It's a 12 volt solenoid there really isn't much to say when it's plugged in it works and it's as described by Club Car over the years, that it will fit.

I needed this magnet to replace the one that broke on my golf cart. It was simple and easy to pull out the old one and put this one in. For short trips it worked great at first. The bad news is that it overheated and burned out after driving the car about 2 miles.

It works, if you drive your car for just 5 minutes it will work for you. I noticed that after a short drive around the territory of our camp, this thing burned my hands 🔥. Internal wires should be thin and not withstand a lot of use. For reliability, choose OEM or you will be replacing this part sooner than desired.

I am returning this product. It only lasted 1 month. I will try the product again (to be honest) and hope it was a lonely lemon. Worked well to this day and refused to shut down the engine. I had to disconnect the battery to turn the engine off. Not so handy when I'm playing golf!
