Not as good as they use to be

I think they have changed the material for making these paper towels. They use to be soft. They aren’t anymore. Lacks versatility and may not meet all cleaning needs.

Pros
  • Best paper towels!!
Cons
  • Lacks versatility and may not meet all cleaning needs

Not super soft. good for me

I got viva because I like the towel like softness of them they normally feel like your own little disposable Jersey bed sheet to me these are not the typical viva paper towels I buy. Pretty disappointed.

Pros
  • Good, but not the classic I like to use.
Cons
  • I mistook these for the Signature cloth. They’ll do I guess.

Know Which Viva Paper Towel You're Buying

So many reviews here decry the fact that this Viva paper towel is not the soft, non-patterned, cloth-like Viva paper towel they're expecting. That's because that paper towel they've grown to love is a completely different product: the Viva Signature Cloth TaskSize Paper Towel (which my wife swears by); a high absorption paper towel so soft and cloth-like as to resemble an old school chalkboard chamois.Instead, the product you're buying here is the Viva Multi-Surface paper towel -- an…

Pros
  • I use on absolutely everything!!!
Cons
  • Limited flexibility can make it difficult to use in tight spaces

These aren't the cottony Viva they claim to be

For years I've subscribed to Viva paper towels because I love the cloth texture. Those disappeared and ebay said these were similar but they just aren't. These have the same texture as a million other paper towel brands. They function just fine but I won't pay more for these like I would for the cottony ones.

Pros
  • Best value for money.
Cons
  • Requires frequent replacement due to limited capacity

They have a pattern!

I especially ordered these because I wanted no pattern. They have a pattern so not right if looking for ones recommended by Tim Holtz.

Pros
  • I use Viva for everything. Soft enough to use as Kleenex . Strong when cleaning up. Never falls apart.
Cons
  • Can easily become oversaturated and lose effectiveness

The best ever paper towels.

I love viva. It is so tough I wash dishes with it. I use it to drain cooked meat on it to drain the grease off the meat. It may cost a little bit more than other paper towels but you will use a lot less so cost wise it is cheaper

Pros
  • Great
Cons
  • May not be suitable for individuals with environmental allergies

Busy Momma Must Have

Great value and love the subscribe and save option. Running a home business, two babes under 3, and two dogs means I’m constantly cleaning.

Pros
  • Health & Household
Cons
  • Can be difficult to find replacement rolls in stores or online

Definitely will order more

I have found these to be the most absorbent and cost effective (even though they are expensive) I go through A LOT of paper towels (I rescue sick dogs) I'm constantly wiping up accidents or vomit. I used a cheaper brand for a while, but these are far superior.

Pros
  • The level of absorbency is amazing, even wet, does not break into pieces and don't weigh down.
Cons
  • Not ideal for use on fabrics or clothing

Better than Charmin

Just the fact that I don’t have to go to Walmart for TP anymore is a win. Further, I think this stuff is better than Charmin. It’s the same quality with more sheets in the roll (I compared packages when I first got it a few months ago and I think there’s 40 more sheets). Great TP for my bunghole!

Pros
  • Happy with purchase!
Cons
  • Limited brand recognition and trust among consumers

I've been buying this brand forever and these ones are not like the ones I get at the store. They aren't soft at all like those or anything. Not sure what happened with that. They do the trick tho.

Pros
  • Very absorbent, reusable, and economical! Great buy and would purchase again once back in stock!
Cons
  • Prone to tearing easily when wet

Nice paper towels. on my review.

These are my favorite paper towels. Not sure why I like them better than Bounty. Maybe Bounty is too thick sometimes. These are fairly absorbent. I like the texture. Is different than the other Viva cloth-like feel. Plus these have a lot of towels on the roll.

Pros
  • Best paper towels
Cons
  • Poor cutting quality may result in uneven or distorted rolls

Good product, great value

Bought these accidentally thinking they were the cloth feeling ones but they have been doing the job just fine. Not as soft as the other but not bad for what its needed for.

Pros
  • Best paper towels out there! Rolls are much bigger then the ones from the store
Cons
  • Not eco-friendly, contributing to waste

For All the Angry and Curious Customers

I just to tell all the people, who left bad comments, thanks for letting the world know that reading is not your strong point. Either that or you'll be really lazy. I been buying these paper towels for years. They still have the soft ones, but for some reason you'll did not read the package or the description provided belong the item. I don't know how good you'll are in math but where I live the local stores have the 6pack on sale at 4.99. That will only give you 30 rolls of you buy 5 of them…

Pros
  • Great value along with quality.
Cons
  • Customer service response times may be slow or lacking

They last forever! - my new review

We go through paper towels FAST and these packs last us 3 months! So happy I found them, no more running out every few days!

Pros
  • It is just like a nice wash cloth. Great absorbency. Very soft. Very good value for the money.
Cons
  • Poor quality control may result in inconsistent performance

These are great if you have kids and need quick simple wipe up of messages or minimal projects, crafts, etc. they are a glorified table napkin when it comes to quality and absorbency. It took me at least 10 of the sheets to get to where it would pull off correctly and not tear(3 or 4th roll into my bulk order package) and then the sheets separated like it wasn’t "plying” together. I won’t be purchasing these for normal kitchen use but for inexpensive situations they’re sufficient.

Pros
  • Closest to a towel
Cons
  • May cause allergic reactions or skin irritation in some individuals

ABSOLUTELY AMAZING!

These are BY FAR THE BEAT PAPER TOWELS EVERRRRRRR!Forgot I was using a paper towel not a rag or kitchen towel. SUPER absorbent. Got them in special at Publix and LOVED them. So have em on subscription for sure now from amazon! 🙌🏼 Seriously. ABSOLUTELY worth the buy! I used to buy Wally World cheap. but would need 7-8 to ONLY 1 of these. NO JOKE! If you a saver, couponer, best deal, money saver, penny pincher. and you aren’t buying these? Then you don’t understand the long run my friends…

Pros
  • Best Paper towels around.
Cons
  • Not compatible with certain types of cleaners or disinfectants

What’s changed in Viva’s texture?

Love Viva, I did notice a change in texture. They’re not as soft as they used to be. I do like that they’re perforated, so you can use whichever size you like.

Pros
  • February 21, 2019
Cons
  • Not as cost-effective in the long term for heavy cleaning needs

Absorbs liquid quickly & Good for cleaning surfaces

Love these paper towels! These are the only paper towels I use. I like how it feels like a towel and absorbs liquid quickly. I use it when I cook and clean the floor of my room. Recommended for people who go through paper towels very quickly. I seem to use less sheets with ViVa.

Pros
  • Best paper towels hands down.
Cons
  • Disposal of used towels can be messy and inconvenient
