The product itself smells like mint (because of the ingredients, of course), which I found quite pleasant. The taste of the noodles came as a shock to my tongue, but I quickly got used to it. I wanted a more natural toothpaste at a lower price point (packaging wise). There definitely is. I would like the lid to be plastic but I understand I'm very picky. This is excellent value for money. BUT, taste. Holy cow. It's VERY different from regular toothpaste and I honestly didn't think I could keep using it. I appreciate the fact that it's more eco-friendly and natural, so I bought it. I try to make my everyday life more environmentally friendly. I may not be a pro when it comes to natural products, but I have to say the taste was terrible. I love the jar and the idea but I need to find something else because I could hardly take it after one cleaning.

The first brush change from regular toothpaste was strange. After that you get used to it. I've noticed how much sugar and artificial sugar there is in regular and other more natural brands. I was happy to have found this brand. I've been waiting for the second cleaning and a review from the dentist before posting a review. No problems, no decay, and even the tooth that was the problem didn't break. I would love to see this brand on the shelves at Whole Foods & Sprouts.
