📷 Vivitar 410 / 610 Digital Video Camera with Variable Colors and Styles Review

Item came in new plastic but had a lot of scratches on the outside, looked very cheap - but I was expecting at the price - the battery cover comes off very easily - bought this for my 7 year old to take from of the record - so I had to mask off the outside to keep the battery cover in place -

I bought this after watching the video review thinking it would be good for the record. The controls are pretty confusing, though, and after putting new batteries in, it died after about 20 minutes of fiddling around. And considering how much I paid and how much time I spent figuring it out I can't get my money back so it's a waste for me. Again just my experience, so.

Great camcorder for under $20 - I thought I was going to lose! It takes good videos (and photos), has all the settings and options I need, and is seamless. If you're a photographer or camera connoisseur this probably isn't for you, but I just wanted a basic camcorder that takes good video, is easy to carry and use, and if it breaks or I lose it, don't worry less than $20 is not that much!

Not the best quality but perfect for my eight year old. He likes it, he takes it for a walk. Until it's broken and it doesn't seem to care about the video resolution as it's fun. This taught him some basic photo/video skills that improved his understanding of his movements during the video process. He holds it on a flexible tripod so he can join in in front of the lens. Very bad product with some flaws that are already evident after the first two uses: 1- During the first video I tried to film, lines appeared on the small screen - similar to the green ones Lines you see going to the cinema. There were three of them, one thick, very distracting on the screen. I've turned it off and on again, but they're here to stay. 2- I recorded a video with sound but the sound quality is lacking.
