Very durable for the price. Depending on what you're squeezing, you might need to hold the base with your other hand, but also anything that's not secured. The only recommendation would be to use dies with different sized holes. When squeezing juice from an orange with large holes, a significant amount of pulp is sometimes obtained. I just pass it through a sieve to get a bigger pulp, so it doesn't matter.

I bought this because my kids were suddenly addicted to fresh lemonade. my fault I should have known that if I did it once I would do it forever. It was the perfect solution to avoiding the pain of clenching my hands. It's pretty hard work and not easy to remove and get, but it does squeeze the juice out of the lemon. Another tip: make sure the backrest stays on the counter when you push the handle down to push it in, or it will tip forward.

This thing has some weight, but in the wrong places. I have to hold the back to squeeze the orange well. I wish I didn't have to put all my weight into it because it can get as tiring as clenching my hands. Also, you are more prone to tearing the skin of the fruit, making the juice bitter. In general, it's still useful to have, but it's not the best solution. If I move up in life, I will definitely buy a push-up machine. It will do for now.
