Use thread paste in accessories and compressors

As in the previous post, threaded fittings skip one or eight layers of thread tape, it doesn't matter, thread paste must be used to ensure a proper seal, except that it is really a good product

Pros
  • Shipping was very fast
Cons
  • Long delivery time

Bad port layout.

Terrible port layout. There are no ports on the top or the opposite side. This means you can only install the tank with the bracket down. It is not possible to mount the tank on the side rail of the frame and you cannot mount the tank upside down under the truck as there is no water drainage hole unless it is standing upright with brackets underneath. If they just added one port on each side, two would be enough to mount it either way.

Pros
  • Slim design
Cons
  • Old

I'll take a weld to fix it.

Used as an air tank for our truck's compressor. Four 1/2" holes at top. We needed two so we had to connect two others. One of the holes - I don't know what's wrong with that. It wouldn't be - no matter how we twist the cork, the air stops flowing. We tried four (4) different plugs and couldn't close it. Now before you think I don't know what I'm doing, all the other 10+ holes have fittings and have no leakage issues - up to 150lbs. So now I have to insert an iron plug and weld the connection…

Pros
  • Comfortable to use
Cons
  • Repair
