🌸 Vollrath 47402 Pink Handled Squeeze Disher - .54 Ounce Capacity - Efficient and Stylish! Review

This is my fourth scoop from Vollrath and it doesn't disappoint. That's about 1 tablespoon and makes a great cookie for 2-3 packs. It's easy to clean and the handle is comfortable to use - doesn't stick like some shovels.

Much better than my old plastic spoon. Easy to use, even for my small hands, the dough comes out easily and completely. Essential for my style of baking: Freeze cookie dough balls, then bake as needed.

This is exactly the size I wanted so it's perfect. The mechanism on the handle binds a bit, so I hope it won't be a big problem later. But so far so good and I'm happy with it as it does its job well and looks solid.

I bake and sell cookies for my employer for our semi-annual sale. Bake hundreds of cookies for these sales. This beautiful cookie spoon was perfect! It's reliable and the cookies always come out the perfect size! Sooo happy!

I like the quality of the Vollrath Utensils (or Spoons) and was hesitant because of the different design, but they work great with chilled cookie dough as well as soft dough. It replaced two other unnamed shovels of the same size that broke. I think this design is worth the money. Definitive!

I have all these plates in different sizes. I use them to portion everything from meatballs to muffins, they are the best. I tried a few cheaper plates but they broke when the cookie dough was refrigerated. They are stamped from thin metal. These Vollrath devices are characterized by good and reliable performance, smooth operation and easy cleaning. Highly recommended! They're a few dollars more expensive, but well worth it.

I was looking for the right size spoon for making Pizzels (Italian waffle cookies). Too much iron batter makes a mess, but too little makes weird-looking cookies. This shovel is just the right size. I bought it to replace another shovel that broke the first time I used it and I'm very happy with it. I prefer the design of this shovel to others and I already have a #50 Vollrath shovel so I know they will last. Will definitely be buying more in other sizes to add to my collection.

Vollrath if you are reading this could you do the size 50 and 60 in the standard metal version? I agree with other posters, compared to their metal ice cream scoops of which I have many, this plastic version and style is clumsy and constantly sticky. Can't speak to durability although I doubt plastic gears will last longer than metal gears but more importantly they are difficult to use - this means the gears are not smooth and stick all the time making you feel in the Need more effort compared…
