They should have just made it so the product covered the entire stain instead of leaving the bottom stain uncovered so the two pieces would stick out too much when pressed they would just take it all away .

There was not enough adhesive to hold the item in place for even a minute. The steering wheel was thoroughly pre-cleaned and the elements held in place for over a minute. They stayed in place for about 30 seconds before bursting. Too bad, looked very nice, but are mostly useless plastic.

Bought for my 2019 Challenger Skatepack. Before applying, I made sure to clean the entire area well. no problem with glue. Everything stayed tight and well anchored, even after a few hundred degree days. No loss of adhesion and no noticeable defects in the carbon pattern.

Advantages: Beautiful appearance and reasonable price. Disadvantages: Adhesive strips suck. Made out of cheap plastic and looks "thready". The dimensions at the top left of the lid are short and do not cover completely (see drawing for reason). Apart from that, they are inexpensive. I would recommend backing up small strips of clear gorilla glue on the double sided tape to help it stick. Let it "bake" in the sun for a little better adhesion.

So it has a few pros and cons. I'll start with the positives: - Looks great on the bike - Bottom fits like a dream Now for the cons: This is a molded plastic part with a carbon fiber finish, the finish is nice but the plastic actually needed to be heated, bent and reshaped in some places to fit.
