🌀 Vornado VFAN Sr. Vintage Air Circulator Fan - Vintage White - Improve Air Circulation Review

Beautiful design, heavy as a rock, but the amount of rust in a year is intimidating. No one seems to care about the durability of the metal that makes up the blade guard. In order to revive the retro design, Vornado needed to make a durable product to celebrate its history. But instead I have three rusty $200 fans on hand.

Great fan! (I thought so.) I think it will last for decades without problems (unfortunately!). It is made of steel except for the base which is made of aluminium. Added a year later. I had to downgrade my rating from 5 stars to 2 as this fan has become quite noisy and now I can't sleep with it running. :(

I bought this fan based on the good reviews and the fact that the color matched my room. However, this fan has very few functions. The highest setting is hardly a breeze in my small room. I was hoping this would make a big difference. But in its current form it is just beautiful to look at and nothing more. I'm considering returning it because it's a good vintage fan. I could spend more to get a regular fan but I'm still not sure if it's worth it. A standing fan does not vibrate at all.

Just coming back to review this product after my fan invented the infamous rattle. It does this for about a year after about three years of use, but the fan's actual cumulative runtime is probably less than 100 hours since it's rarely used. At max RPM. When you are within 6-10 feet of this Vornado Sr fan, you will feel a strong gust of wind. Outside of this range you won't feel a gust of wind, but the airflow can be felt as a gentle breeze over 25 feet away if you're patient to notice. The air circulation in the whole room is fine.
