The grips just slide onto the controller grip, I should add they slide off pretty hard but with enough twist they will slide off! Despite this, they are a great addition as they offer a comfortable, durable and secure fit thanks to the rear side strap. They don't add any weight to the controller at all, and the thickness of the grip itself relative to the actual grip knob is decent.

These grips fit the hand control perfectly and feel great. Your hands comfortably wrap around the controllers. Very easy to assemble together with your controllers. Controllers can still be stored (with a bit of geometry) in the Oculus case if you protect the lenses with some sort of lens protector.
