I gave 4 stars because my LO was having a bit of a hard time getting to the pictures she was taking. Otherwise it's a very solid toy. An older child will find it easier to navigate.

Very durable. Granddaughter (5 years) loves it. i like games Image quality isn't great, but I'm spoiled by my cell phone and Canon photos. Put a microchip in it, but he didn't recognize it. Disappointed with it. Learning how to use it is pretty easy for both of us.

I bought this camera for my 5 year old grandnephew. I asked him to take a picture and send it to me. I was shocked. The picture quality of the "selfie” he took was phenomenal! I said I should get one myself :-). The quality of VTech KidZoom is top notch and the price is an added bonus!

These nice, durable cameras take good pictures of what I've seen. I haven't given them to my kids yet. I was a little disappointed to find that they require 4 AA batteries. Probably just my fault for assuming all cameras are now rechargeable. After reading the description it also states that 4 temporary batteries are included to allow the camera to be tested. This is a good little camera for little kids. It will keep you hooked for days because it provides instant gratification from the screen that displays the photos during (and after) taking them.
