Better than most pens.

I have no complaints about the performance of these springs. The rubbery ones that most styluses have are stylus pens? - May stick to tablet/phone surface. The mesh on them helps the pen slide smoothly across the surface, but the mesh wears out too quickly. The way people hold the pen tends to create a "flat spot" in one spot. The price of the feathers themselves is reasonable, but the shipping costs are ridiculous. (Not related to the product review, I know.)

Replacement tips are cheaper than a complete needle replacement.

I was hesitant to invest in this stylus when I first saw it because of its price tag of around $20. Once I realized that the nibs could be replaced and that they would last longer than the full pens, which I paid $10-15 every other month for, I invested $20. Also, the tips work without damaging my iPad's screen. They will probably work with an Android tablet. I also use a stylus with my Android phone. It should also work on the iPhone.

New carbon fiber nibs last much longer

The latest generation of Wacom Bamboo carbon fiber nibs are slightly more delicate than the old rubber nibs. More importantly, they last much longer without wearing out or cracking. While they cost a little more to buy, I find their durability makes them a better value. Well, if only Wacom had developed a capless version of the Bamboo stylus compatible with these tips to solve the cumbersome, easily lost cap problem of the third generation Solo stylus.

Strong and durable carbon fiber tips.

I have Wacom Gen. 3 Duo stylus pens for my tablet. At first I thought the tip was a cheap standard rubber like any other pen. It wasn't until I started using it that I realized it was carbon fiber, let alone that it could be replaced. I love this stylus so much I looked online for a replacement and when prices dropped I ordered them for parts. I have yet to wear down the original carbon fiber tip. In fact, it still looks like new. If/when it's time to replace it I'll have two spares ready and…

They are great for the most part

They are great for the most part. The nibs are easy to swap out and I find them smoother on screens than the traditional rubber nibs of other styluses I've used. However, I don't know if I'm being very rough with my pen or if I'm just unlucky with my batches because they seem to wear out quicker than others think. I bought these because my first pen had a big hole in it pretty quickly but I ordered them because I liked the pen and how smooth it is and I put a lot of effort after replacing the…
