Hello I bought this to trim my beard which I have been able to do for many many years. Trimming my beard with bare metal, back to skin. This trimmer was very scratchy/sharp and uncomfortable and consistently didn't cut hair but got stuck in the blades. After 1 month the metal part on top started to rust heavily - see attached photos. Also, I was away for 1 month and only used this product about 6 times. My old beard trimmer still worked after 5 years but the battery started dying. I do not…

This is a great clipper, if a bit noisy. Good battery, light weight. The distance between the teeth of the blades is smaller, so it cuts more efficiently than other trimmers. The only problem is that it develops rust. When you are on the toilet, water can get on the blades. The blades had to be steel like other trimmers.

First impression: I use it without protection because I'm too lazy to shave. Without protection, it cuts close enough to look like a day's beard growth. I'm disappointed with how loud it is and it sounds terrible. Not an eye-catcher, but I won't buy one again. I'm disappointed by several reviews that it was quiet. It's definitely not quiet.

Choice, they used to be to this type of trimmer what Craftsman was to instruments. No longer! I cannot adequately express my frustration at the desired level as well as the use/choice of well-formed obscene language. Fewer teeth make them great for plastic surgery when you let those garden tool blades touch your skin! Oh! Let's not forget how quickly he gets stuck due to the amount of hair he's pulling out!

I want to use a set of heads for a fixed length haircut. The variable doesn't stick very well, it slipped once when I lost focus causing me to lose over 1/2 inch of facial hair. I have no other complaints other than noise. That's good, it does what it needs to do... but it can only reliably cut 3/16 or shorter. If you want something longer, look elsewhere.
