Good Replacement - Hair Clippers

Received this to replace the guard that came with my clippers of choice. The dog thought the original would be a great chew toy. I can't say if it was fun, but I can tell he won't last long in this role. The original set is all black, color-coded plastic makes it easy to find in your bag. This guard fits the clipper perfectly and I think the quality is the same as the original if not better.

This guard is the best thing about clippers and accessories

I bought the items because I thought - hoping they would fit my clipper. It's not, but I'm not deducting points for that as I should have done more research. I only needed one protection - I hate buying more than I need and don't want to pay for a full set as I only use a length or two. Buying the full set would have been better value for money so the price was a bit high for one. I ended up with another trimmer that - guess what (!) - uses this protection. At least I have a spare blade for it.

May scratch due to sharp front edge

Unlike a real Choice #1 comb, this comb digs into the skin and can scratch it. The original Wahl comb is perfectly smooth where it meets the skin and the leading edge is blunt with no sharp leading edges to dig into the skin. Now it fits the trimmer perfectly and is very durable. I've tried using a file to remove sharp edges, but to no avail.
