perfect calms my 04 v8 4runner. Slight noise when accelerating. but no drone. Perfect for your everyday car, you don't want to be loud or spend $$$ on a factory replacement.

This muffler caused my car to misfire because the pipe size went down to about 1.5" or 1.25". This universal muffler is only suitable for very small cars, do not use it for V6 or V8 engines.

Bought to replace the stock muffler on my 1961 Ford Falcon. Only it's a little longer it looks the same. I had to get adapters to convert the 2-1/2" ends to the original 1-7/8" ends. With it installed I can't start the engine at all, which was exactly what I wanted and even got some power. Highly recommended for this app.

Although the actual intake is 2.25, that's not the flow size of these mufflers - the 2.25 intake goes down to 1.25 in the muffler. It's the same as using a tap on your 2.25 to 1.25 pipe and then installing a 1.25 intake muffler, which is not recommended for any vehicle - your car has a 2.25 for this reason -Pipe size because the flow is so good. as the smallest member.

Perfect fit and easy replacement. The hardest part was removing the old rusty factory unit. My consumption has improved after changing the exhaust and it's still nice and quiet. It might have a slightly raspier exhaust than stock, or it might just be that my exhaust flows better now. Don't buy if you want to make your truck louder, but this is a great factory replacement with better flow than the old stock muffled unit.
