No to dark colors! - my new review

The teal looks AWFUL! first off, it's more of a blue than teal. it's just a boa glued onto a shade. because the shad is white and the boa is dark once you turn on the light all you see are gaps of white shade. they could've layered it for a full look. Very disappointed. it only looks good with the lights off. Returning it to try the white instead. Dont buy this color.

Baffled as to how this fits a table or floor lamp base.

I bought this based on the claim it would work with a table or floor lamp. I have no idea how that could be possible. It doesn’t come with any instructions and I couldn’t figure out how to make it work. Also the teal is more a peacock blue than a true teal.
