The photo shows my work and private phones. This magnetic ring is great for MagSafe. You must tape it to the outside of the case and your case can't be thicker than 8 inches, but it allows for a magnetic attachment to safely charge the magnet. I then connected it to a plate to hold the pop socket and now I can easily turn the pop socket on and off and charge my phone.

I use it outside of my iPhone XS case. Enough magnet to hold it securely in the car on my magnetic mount. Inside the case, like the large plates I used, kept falling off. It also doesn't block wireless charging with the case and extra clearance. Even my cheap and nasty wireless charger works fine if I set it up right. I only wish you could get a pack of 1 or 2. Nobody needs 5 of these.

I've only been using it for a day or two but am very satisfied. I have a phone case that doesn't let the magnet in the phone through, so I took it to attach the magnetic car mount. It works well with magnetic car mount and magnetic socket. I love that it comes in a multi piece pack so if one falls off I have extras. I put mine on the outside of my phone case so I'm not sure how it will hold up once I put it inside.

For a simple metal ring, these things are groundbreaking. All MagSafe products now work with my Pixel 6. I have a magnetic battery, magnetic outlet, and magnetic car mount/charger. They all work great and the charging ring location is right in the middle of the G on the back of the device. My wife ended up using it for her iPhone 13 as well because the magnet in the case she bought wasn't strong enough to hold her phone securely.
