These socks were bought for a friend. I was told the the socks were used to keep her lower legs warm in her study room which is fairly cold during the winter months. As they were only used for the lower legs these socks kept them warm just fine. The only problem was that the socks would slide down from her thighs if she stood up to walk around.

I absolutely love these leg warmers! The knit is tight and warm but breathable. They look amazing all the way up and great slouched. One challenge I have had with long leg warmers is a poorly manufactured seams that unravel after one wash, or they change shape and pill up fast. These are on their fifth trip through the laundry and still look new.

Soft and feel great. Grew up dancing in them and have rediscovered them. I like this particular brand because like my leg warmers of years ago they flare at the ankle end which allows them to flow over my mule slippers or wear over the shaft and dow to the base of my cowboy boots, have gotten more than a few compliments and all i was trying to do was stay warm out to a bonfire!. Very fast shipping.

It is long enough to go up to my thighs but it is constricting so I can only tolerate up Over my knees a bit. It’s cute in boots but I think prob more comfy if you have skinny legs. Mine are normal (maybe a bit heavier than I should be) I think. I’m 5’4” and 136lbs. I normally have issues finding boots that fit my thighs since I thought my thighs were normal-skinny . These cute warmers told me otherwise.

These fit me perfectly! I am 5"-5'1" and around 110-115 lbs. They come up around my mid thigh and still cover my feet a bit; it would just expose my ankle if I pulled them all the way up. Would probably be shorter on someone with thicker thighs. They are super warm, I wore them over thigh highs and didn't even have a mild chill. Slip down a liiittle on my bare thighs but stay up for the most part.

These have a piece of elastic around the end which I suppose is intended to help keep them up. The elastic is narrow and feels like a rubber band around the leg. Otherwise I like them. Probably going to wear them with the rubber band down by the ankle where I don't notice it as much.

While these are open on each end, one side does have a thin elastic band in the end. My only assumption is this is meant to be the top and the bank helps to keep the warmers up, over your knee.My thighs were too thick for this to be comfortable to wear, so I have returned them.Quality seemed nice other than this one feature.

Love these! I've had other pairs, these are the best ones so far. They go up over my knees & come out to the middle of my foot. I have a wide calf so was a little concerned about tightness, no problem, also: they don't roll down. I have arthritis & these will keep my shins warm so they don't hurt so much. I got the gray, they are pretty. Good quality item, I am buying 3 more pair.

delivered with the wrong color. The top elastic is too tight on my thigh and my legs are just normal not fat at all. It is ok but is not the softest acrylic and the I found the wool was a bit too thick for me.

I absolutely love these. My daughter loves wearing legwarmers, but she is cute and a small child. I, on the other hand, I am an adult that but I had outgrown these 20 years ago. I purchased these and wear them regularly now. I wear a lot of skirts and pantyhose, it also smells six or seven months out of the year here. These are wonderful. Also, my man has an affinity for the 80s so when I wear these with my pantyhose and skirt and a pair of high heels, needless to say he goes a little crazy…

I love these, the quality is good, they're nice and thick but the band near the thigh is a little tight, if you don't mind or have thinner thighs you'll be good :)

These were perfect for my 80s workout lady costume. The elastic on the top made them stay put for a solid 12 hours. That's my feedback.

These socks keep you very warm, but the top of the socks has any elastic band that fits a little too tightly around your leg. I wear an extra small in clothes so if the sock fits tightly around my leg, I would think it would be even tight around women who wear a larger size.

I got these to wear as regular leg warmers because I'm 5'9" and plus size with thick legs. I never expected them to reach my thighs. But they do! They are very VERY stretchy, not narrow fitting at all, and super warm! I can scrunch them down or pull them up to my knees, and over them.

I needed a pair of thicker legwarmers for winter as many of the offices are cold to feet and lower leg. These were a pleasant surprise. They as very decent and a plus for the price. Of course they are not what I used to purchase 40+ years ago, but they will do nicely. Thanks!

I wanted these to go to low- to mid-thigh, but it was not to be. The band at the top is VERY tight around thick thighs. We’re talking 22” thighs. These will have to move down to just above the knee.That being said, these are freaking soft and will be nice to wear around.

I could not have made the freeze of 2021 if not for these. We had single digit temps, But my feet and legs were warm!I am big girl but they did not cut onto my legs. They stay up and are comfortable.

though not as thick or tightly woven as i thought they would be, i find the leg warmers rather effective. they stay in place and are comfortable. they provide the protection from cold i desired.

I love these! The purple/lilac color is exactly as was shown. Very vibrant beautiful color! They are soft and comfortable. They come well over my knee. There is an elastic band in the top end that helps hold them up; it was not too tight but tight enough to keep them in place. I have not worn them up above the knee, but do feel like they would stay in place. I wore them down over my ankle boots and they kept my ankles and legs warm. I would purchase these again.

I got these in navy for a Halloween costume and love them. I've worn them a couple times already and they're super comfortable and stay where you want them. I came back to order them in brown because I don't typically wear blues, but unfortunately there is no brown option :(
