Easy to install: Accessories

Easy to install, instructions are clear. I'm not that mechanical and haven't had any problems. And it doesn't bother my quad.

Pros
  • Easy to install
Cons
  • I don't really like anything, everything is fine

Used on a Grizzly 660 with a 54 " plow. plowed a .

Used on Grizzly 660 with 54 inch plow. Cleared half a meter of snow without any problems. Very heavy rig, 2500 lb winch struggles to get around corners.

Pros
  • One year trial
Cons
  • Lightly dented

Fast delivery, device too small

Item received very quickly. The only criticism is that the supplied U-bolts are not long enough. I had to go to the local hardware store and buy new ones to get it working.

Pros
  • Good product for the price
Cons
  • disappears

Warn front blade kit.

Well made and very strong plow bracket. I had to go to the hardware store and buy two longer U-bolts for the A-pillars. The U-bolts sent for this position were too short to fit on the nuts. However, it's okay.

Pros
  • A sea of positive emotions
Cons
  • Appearance

Durable product: Accessory

The build quality is good and does not interfere with driving on rough terrain. However, the instructions for the whole plow kit are terrible and the front U-bolts are too short. I had to clamp them with channel locks and force my wife to start nuts. Tightening the nuts caused the bolts to cut into the brush housing. After the installation I was very satisfied.

Pros
  • Great design
Cons
  • Outdated

Event great except bolts are too short to fit

Event great except bolts are too short to fit. I fought with the bolters for more than an hour and then gave up. Bought a few longer ones from the store and installed in minutes. The worst part of the whole setup was having to completely dismantle my winch. With the kfi winch mount, everything fits together perfectly without any modification. Aside from those two issues, the installation was easy.

Pros
  • Confident
Cons
  • Minor issues

Very Happy: Accessories

Unlike some other reviewers, I didn't have to replace the U-bolts on my Grizzly 660. I tightened the bolts on one side with regular nuts (not supplied) and made a place to buy screws on the other side. Then I replaced the nuts with the ones that came with it. The winch and winch bracket had to be removed for assembly. Also, my winch isn't Warn, so I had to grind some metal off the winch mount to make room for the ProVantage U-bolts. In the end everything is fine and I'm happy.

Pros
  • Sturdy build
Cons
  • No automatic

The blade attaches easier than most brands and never needs to be picked up.

I haven't received mine yet and I don't know how to attach it either. A friend of mine has one of these though and I have some experience with them as we live in Montana snow country. The blade attaches easier than most brands and the mounting bracket never needs to be removed to avoid damaging it or losing game in the summer. That sold me. Our local Yamaha dealer does not recommend this mounting system as it is said to reduce traction as most of the weight is on the front wheels. This hasn't…

Pros
  • handy thing
Cons
  • so far so good
