The silicone case is good, it hides and protects the camera, but there is too much movement where the flexible shaft and cover meet. So if you hang them outside on something above your head, they will move in too strong places in windy conditions. works well indoors where you don't want to drill holes, or outdoors against something solid like a wall or wood. If they could make the connection between the flexible stem and the cap a bit tighter that would give 5 stars from me.

I only bought this based on the Revain utility and reviews. Received it today and I'm disappointed. The overall product feels flimsy; The length of the swiveling cord is woefully inadequate for any of my use cases, and the durability seems almost useless to me. I needed this mount for those hard-to-reach outdoor areas where I couldn't use a regular mount. The mount allowed for quick camera placement, but was difficult to aim and moved in the wind. The idea is great, but the flexible "tail" is attached to the synthetic skin on top of the camera, which allows it to pull away from the camera in some applications.
