Paper tape used to be available in every stationery store. This is now a special item. I bought this to stretch watercolor paper and it works really well. The right amount of stickiness and decent paper quality. Order again if needed

I've tried stretching 90 lb watercolor paper with it multiple times and every time. The tape stuck neatly to the back board and peeled away from the paper as it dried, leaving my paper in a mess. Knowledge from internet research and I don't think I got it wrong. Not sure if there just isn't enough gum on the paper to stick when it dries.?

I use it to finish the edges of my cardboard products (mainly boxes). Everything is fine with that, but the color after drying is so yellow that it doesn't match the color of the box at all (which is ugly). Compared to other brands I've tried, I've found that the glue isn't that strong and the paper tears very easily (I think it's too thin). I will use it but will not buy again.

Ideal for stretching watercolor paper up to 11" x 14". Paper shrinks, it detaches from the tape. So I have a board (like a Gatorboard) to attach larger wet paper to. I know a lot of people don't bother stretching toilet paper, but I really hate stretching it. So, yes, I actually prepare several articles at once, so I always have paper ready. Oh and some watercolor YouTubers use a sponge to dampen the tape but I think it wears off the glue so I just dip it in water,

My rating is based on my experience using this product to stretch watercolor paper. I can't talk about other travel destinations. I would only recommend this if you are stretching a large piece of paper or are willing to sacrifice everything the tape touches. The ribbon held and my paper stretched, however 85% of the ribbon did not come off the paper or card stock I was using.
