The seal was broken, leaking.

I had high hopes that this would be a backpack that we could use for hiking and walking the dog in the summer. It can carry a dog bowl, treats, long leash, etc. This is a VERY small backpack. Check customs. You can't put a regular size bath towel in this backpack when there is water in it, which is a special purpose. I mention this because I think buyers will be surprised, not because I gave it one star. We took it out of the packaging and tried it out right away. It leaked everywhere. The…

I very rarely write reviews but thought Water Buffalo deserved a review.

I rarely write reviews but I think Water Buffalo deserves a review. his goal. It is compact and well made to withstand damage. I took this bad boy on a trip to Colorado where I fell on my back many times while snowboarding and the water tank stayed intact. The capacity of the water reserve backpack is 2 liters, which is enough for outdoor activities. As for the bags. I found the compartments very useful for storing my sunglasses, snacks and gloves. Comparing the water bag in question to my…

Straw shut-off valve broke after only 3 months.

Opening and closing the mouthpiece has always been too small and difficult to move. The little lip on the value you rest your thumb on for open/close just finally cracked in half. So the value is fully open and cannot be closed. This means that every time you fill the backpack, the water will overflow from the straw unless you hold it higher than the backpack itself. It also means that during carry every time you lean forward to pick something up from the ground, water flows from the straw…

Pros
  • Ripstop liner
Cons
  • Minor issues

Not bad for a first model, though.

I would like to see a longer zipper for the body of the water bag. The device has too many seams to allow for this at the moment. Also the screw on the cap for the water bottle is a little smaller, if you don't have a break at the faucet, there is a chance of water spilling on your backpack. As far as bungee storage goes, it won't do me any good, it might hold a t-shirt in place, but anything small will likely fall out at significant gaps between the bungee cord. I would have preferred to have…

Just spend $20 for a good

I ordered this pack thinking the protection in place would be short lived so I went with a cheaper pack. work with. Now, after a few weeks of use, I can say with certainty that I should have chosen a different option. First I ordered a black backpack but received a blue one. Then I noticed the right hose clamp was missing, I wasn't sure when I first got it because I was just opening it but after a few runs where the hose hit me and wouldn't stay in place, I checked the amazon posted and saw…
