It would be nice if the pens had some kind of numbering or identification. They work great, nice bright colors and blend quite well. Overall a great watercolor pencil, especially for beginners. However, when you try to create a pattern table, there is no name or number on each pin. I think I should have bought Arteza Real Brush Pens instead. I keep them as spares for quick sketches, but for professional work I use Arteza brush pens.

You can use them as markers if you like. The color is strong and bright from the top. But you can also take a cup of water and a brush and drag and drop the paint to get a real watercolor feel. You can also apply paint with a wet brush and then transfer the paint to paper. There are many tutorials on You Tube on how to use these markers. These watercolor brushes come in a great carrying case which is a slim and easy to access brush with simple clasps to keep the brushes safe when storing or transporting. The colors appear to be true to the tips. Bright and smooth. It turns out there isn't too much "ink" but enough to make the lines smooth.
