I love this food slicer! This saves a lot of time and makes cutting the melon easier. I used to buy melons less often simply because of the hassle and confusion of slicing. Ever since we got our slicer, we've been eating watermelon every week.

This is the perfect kitchen tool for perfectly even watermelon slices every time. The instructions on the packaging indicate that one end must be cut off to get a stable cutting edge. However, I am SLOW and OLD and found that with my 74 year old muscles I had to put the bowler hat and "cutter" on the floor. But it REALLY WORKS! I sincerely recommend this product‼️

We used this for a wedding BBQ where we quickly cut up 15 watermelons. It was easy to use and made nice, even slices that made it look like a professional job. A very useful device for slicing all kinds of watermelons. I had a giant watermelon and tried this slicer in it and the result is great! All you have to do is pick it up and slide it until it intersects itself. It is also easy to wash with water. Now eating more watermelon helps me. I've also used it to slice cantaloupe and it's still great. I used to cut watermelons with a big knife, but now this slicer helps me save time and effort.

It's as big as they say and I'm not sure where I'll put it but I'll make room for sure! My favorite kitchen helper after the pineapple knife. He literally cut the melon and gave me beautiful slices in just a few seconds. I've found it takes quite a bit of muscle and strength if you're going straight down, but I've found it's a lot easier to rock it side-to-side slightly when I'm pushing down. I recommend it to anyone who eats melons and now I want to try slicing apples too. Seems to be durable…
