This seems to be what I was looking for. good freedom of movement, solid construction and high flow rate. I agree with whoever said that turning rather than pulling down to change flow was probably a much better idea in terms of faucet wear. I would say it's even louder than the aerator that came with the faucet but still quieter than the one I previously bought. Assuming there won't be any leakage issues in the near future, I'm very happy with this purchase.

This aerator was purchased specifically because it claims to maintain a flow rate of 2.5 GPM. Our kitchen is the farthest sink from the hot water tank. It ALWAYS takes time for hot water to come out of the faucet when you first turn it on. Replacing the existing 1.2 GPM aerator with this one should have reduced the wait time significantly.
