The quality of light shows up badly in the Ring videos at night time. The older one I had, produced excellent videos in Ring in the night time, while this one comes up with grainy and not so recognizable videos! The light is that dull for capturing a good photo/video at night.It is probably Ok to use as an extra light, instead of as the only light you have at the front or back.Also, motion detection is not that good either. Seems to work consistently only within 4 ft or less. I would be fine…

Had a fairly tough time installing this; had to get longer screws in the end; took way longer than it should have given the house is new construction.The motion sensing is terrible; barely works. I have to clean the sensor weekly and Typically have to wave my hand right in front of the sensor for it to detect motion; not ideal.

I was not sure what to expect since it is not a metal lamp and does not cost very much.To my surprise this motion detection lamp is a quality product at a great price!

Motion detection is defective. Attempted to contact the company three times now and no reply. There is a five year warranty on the product. I don’t understand why Ebay deals with companies like this.

It's a very good product, but the top and bottom pieces don't attach securely. There are easy homemade workarounds, but the two parts should snap tight when rotated.

This light was easy to install. Feel a little more secure knowing this is on my back deck. The motion sensor is a good distance and is bright enough to scare an intruder away.
