Efficient and quiet but cables are a bit short

Used to replace a defective standard fan in my one year old JGAurora A5S. Fits right, no problem. Runs quieter than stock. Having 2 packs is a plus. However, the wires are about 3 inches shorter. I end up cutting them off, cutting the wires from the old fan (along with the connector) and soldering the wires to the new ones using heat shrink tubing for insulation.

Works as listed: Case Fan

I use one of these to cool a custom rig with a single board computer. Actually runs on 3.3V and not 5V as I don't need the full bandwidth of the airflow. At this voltage they consume about 140 mA and are very quiet.

Excellent fan internals

These fans move a lot of air for their size and can get noisy at top speed. but it is a fan. they make noise. I got the revs down to 1250 rpm and the noise is barely noticeable and still delivers plenty of airflow considering how small these things are.

Pros
  • Large selection
Cons
  • So-so

Pretty little fans.

For use with a welding helmet to prevent lens fogging. Smaller than most fans but overall they don't seem to miss my lens.

Pros
  • Heavy duty finish
Cons
  • Small parts

Small and quiet. fits internal components

Nice little fan. Good for small projects. When assembling my project, I broke the wire at the soldering point of the fan. Easy fix if you have the tools. It just has to be handled with care.
