Original burned out by extreme summer heat, could not be opened to change car. Replace entire unit, OEM exact replacement. Now very happy tourists.

Leaks everywhere, crap! The threads are plastic and flexible, they break when straightened. The o-ring on the body is leaking and the fitting has teflon tape but that's not enough and it's leaking too.

Leaking inlet filter. Since it took me several weeks to install and find the leak, they do not accept returns. Wait, the water filter that's dripping out of the box can't be returned? A narrow special wrench is required to tighten the fitting, so I cannot tighten it. Bad design and bad quality control.

Very good water filter. It comes with a cheap filter I made as a "spare". I bought their best filter to install. The bracket on which this filter is mounted is quite light. Having installed it in my earthquake on wheels caravan, I was concerned about its ability to withstand constant shaking. I built a block to put it underneath so it doesn't vibrate as much. For stationary use, I would say that it's great.

My friend told me about this filter (and he didn't use his own) so I went and bought it. Right out of the box, the inlet side was kind of leaking horribly. Thinking it was a bad item I returned it for another, SAME PROBLEM! It flows where the input threads enter the head of the canister. It looks like they didn't use enough tape so I unscrewed it, rewound tons of tape and reattached it. VIOLA! There are no intake leaks. But now I have a slow leak on the output side.
