Description of 💧 Watts Premier WH-LD Whole House Water Filter

The Whole House Filter provides cleaner water into your home while protecting your water heater, washing machine, refrigerators, ice-makers and other appliances from the harmful build-up of sediments, dirt and rust. This under the sink water filtration system has a built-in bypass valve system for easy maintenance and does not require shutting off the water. Includes three 50-micron sediment water filters, a ball valve, one mounting bracket, and a housing wrench and the ports on the system lid are 3/4 inch with stainless steel reinforced inserts to fit all standard household plumbing. It removes sediment and other particles that can damage your water softener, prematurely foul a carbon filter or ruin the plumbing fixtures and valves. Operating Temperature is maximum 100°(F) and minimum 40°(F).

High quality water filter

Easy installation and great taste. The transparency of the water flowing through the filter is amazing. You will love your new homemade water!

Pros
  • One year trial period
Cons
  • old

Brand new and bypass leaks

I moved into a house with an older version of this filter. It worked fine for a while, but then the bypass started leaking, making filter changes difficult. I bought this device as it was exactly the replacement for the old one. The first time I change the filter but the bypass doesn't hold! I had to turn off the water supply and change quickly as water was splashing everywhere. Cheap junk.

Pros
  • Cool
Cons
  • Set weak

Well made filter suitable for replacing under sink water filters

I replaced the old whole house filter with this one. Very well made and sturdy, I love that it comes with a wrench to unscrew the case. My old one didn't and I had to use an oil filter wrench. This can be hung nearby and is practical. I installed it with ball valves on each side to isolate it during filter changes, but you don't have to do this as you should be able to bypass the filter and change the filter without turning off the water. The threads are stainless steel, not plastic, and…

  • Nice to use

very durable, easy to install

This is a great whole house water filter. I live in Central Florida, the water smells like pond water and is mostly undrinkable. I read all the other filter reviews and settled on this easy to install one and the carbon filter made my water fresh and drinkable. I love this filter so much that I bought another filter that I will install so I will also have a filter to remove sediment. Yes I have to rewire my system to add another filter so now I have 2 filters 1 for sediment 1 charcoal for odor…

Pros
  • Dope 🔥
Cons
  • No mold required

Center filter in replacement water filters

I don't like that the rubber seal falls out every time I have to change the filter. I also don't like that the filter housing is solid white plastic instead of clear. Now I change the filter by date instead of just looking at the transparent case. When my water pressure drops, I also know that the filter is basically clogged. It's pretty easy to turn the filter valve to close it. The large plastic wrench that comes with the filter must be used correctly or it will slip off. I had no problems…
