Not great for GP but still works great

Not great for GP but still works great. I was able to assemble it as shown in my drawing. I can connect gp differently but still very happy with the performance.

Pros
  • New to my collection
Cons
  • Not as good as it says

Tolerance build-up problem with this

The small USB micro-bridge that connects the USB hat to the Raspberry Pi Zero is a bit too high with the 40-pin GPIO header on the opposite side. Zero. It can be made to fit, but I hate putting something together when the designer forgot to check that all the components fit properly.

Pros
  • Weight
Cons
  • Some small things

Worked fine though. in Computer Components

Solved my low port issue on my RPi4, but installing it with a USB cable was cumbersome and caused the Pi to freeze on reboot. I replaced it with a custom RPi4 device. It's probably great on the PiZero, but not as advertised on the RPi4.

Pros
  • Very Impressive
Cons
  • Boring Packaging

USB hub works but no luck with UART.

Update: After almost giving up on this thing, I unscrewed it from the Pi Zero W and noticed a couple tiny UART RXD TXD switches set to OFF on the board. I figured out what the heck, I'll try turning them on and see what happens. Lo and behold, I get boot messages. I don't recall this being mentioned in the documentation. So what I did to make it work: 1. The UART RXD TXD switch is toggled to ON.2. Attach to Pi Zero W.3. Plug the included USB cable into the mini USB port labeled UART.4. Connect…

That's great! - Computer components

Try Zero4U. It did not work. This one worked like a charm! It lights up when a USB device is connected. Very cool. It even has a UART, but I haven't tried it yet. The perfect accessory for your Pi Zero or Pi Zero W. If only a case was made for it.

Pros
  • Nice
Cons
  • Good but not great
