🔴 Wavian Red Long-Nose Flexible NATO Jerry Can Spout/Nozzle: European Military Spec Quality Review

There is no reason why it shouldn't come with a cap to prevent dust and dirt from entering the tip. Jars are usually stored with the lid closed, but sometimes I like to leave the nozzle on. I understand the gas needs to come out and that would be a little harder than covering it with some sort of rubber piece, but I feel like they should have figured it out. I ended up gluing a PVC tube with a plug on one end and a threaded cap on the other to store the nozzle.

This nozzle is well made and durable. Suitable for the Wavian can I bought. It would be nice if the seller provided instructions on how to use the two screws and the plastic parts that come with it, but this is not yet available. Once you see the glass it becomes obvious what these parts are for. In the part of the handle next to the filling hole in the glass there are two small holes that these plastic parts attach to and are meant to hold the spout during storage.

I bought this Wavian NATO canister attachment to replace the original CARB spout (which broke on first use). I preferred this Wavian version because it was cheaper, looked more durable in the photos, and matched my canister better. I finally got the chance to use it and it worked flawlessly. The jet easily entered the filler neck and opened up the steam trap (the original CARB jet didn't even come close).
