This is a very beautiful and lush vintage style tree. However, the reason for the three stars is that this tree is not covered in snow, but sparkles. We love it, our grandson loves it, but if you don't like the shine this tree isn't for you.

This is a beautiful tree when assembled. Remember that you need to open it over the sheet and spread it out on the table until you're done with it. This is due to the constant loss of gloss and flocking. Although it is beautiful when the light falls on it.

Shown is a flocked tree but sent with glitter jumble. Glitter is not the same as flock. Loosening up the tree was almost impossible in most areas because the lighting cords were wrapped around the entire branch, as were all the branches that needed cutting. I never had to unplug the pre-lit wiring that came with the Christmas tree, that's incorrect, but as I said there would be huge sections where the branches would remain wrapped.

Like shine. I just wish it was more subtle, a little big. Easy to assemble but wobbles a bit. Is in good shape except there were a few branches at the top that were not connected at all. BONUS **Cats can't climb between branches on a 5ft tree, so don't fall just yet. Different types of branches give it texture, but with Douglas fir branches you can only put lights or decorations in the middle of a group of branches, there is only metal in the central trunk, otherwise the decorations will fall…

When I opened the box I was shocked at the amount of glitter on this tree. The description says flocked white and there is some white flocking. However, most of the tips are set with pure silver glitter. I covered my dog, my husband, the living room floor in glitter 😂 If you don't like glitter, this might not be for you.
