Seems to work great but it's a VERY LOUD drive otherwise quiet machine, very noticeable. If it's a noisy car or somewhere out of the way, that's great. Desk, you might want to find something quieter.

I use this in an external case and hook it up to my security system. Enough space for many large video files. Easy to set up. Just mount and format. Doesn't seem to generate much heat. However, performance definitely becomes sluggish when the drive is full. Video clips start to stutter when data blocks are closed. In general very satisfied.
