Painful to install but works well.

(I bought the metal struts) The attachment is quite rough and cannot be done with a short screwdriver. It took a lot of fine tuning to fit properly in the 5.25-inch bay. But once there, it worked perfectly.

Pros
  • Satisfied so far
Cons
  • Sad hardware

Frees up internal storage space by utilizing dead space

Purchased to fit a boot SSD drive (in an unused 5.25 bay) in my new file server. Everything fits perfectly. There are many mounting holes for 3.5" and 2.5" drives. Mounting screws are included as a bonus. Pretty happy.

Pros
  • Great for outdoor activities
Cons
  • Quality

Ideal, a must for small cases without hard disk installation.

I have a very small case and this has allowed me to fit one of my 2.5" SSDs into my case under my GPU to add extra storage and I plan on adding a second 2.5 and Adding 3.5 inch another fan to the bottom of my case, this thing definitely saved my life.

Pros
  • Easy to read control panel
Cons
  • Expensive

Good quality mounts

These mounts came in a small package with all the components needed. Unfortunately, my Seagate hard drive (8TB Iron Wolf) didn't have the correct screw holes to snap this bracket onto. It's not the fault of this bracket. Therefore, you should check the compatibility of your hard drive before purchasing. I will buy it again for a compatible hard drive.

Pros
  • Glitter
Cons
  • Upgrades

Almost fits into hard drive housing

Everything works fine except one of the SATA cables is kinked at both ends. Unfortunately, this means that no matter what port on the motherboard I plug it into, it will block the adjacent port and make it inaccessible. If it was turned the other way it wouldn't be a problem. It does not make sense. The other cable is straight and no problem. I only needed one, but I would be very upset if I needed both.

Pros
  • Everything is great!
Cons
  • Previous dubious purchase

Terrible Cables - Computer Accessories and Peripherals

I spent most of the night trying to install a new hard drive. I finally came to the conclusion that cables cannot be used to detect a hard drive. They slip out of position and are not fixed. With all the hardware installed I even tried tightening the cable to keep it in the hard drive and motherboard but that still didn't work and didn't recognize other hard drives that don't use this cable. The mounting frame is good.

Pros
  • Great for a Small Home
Cons
  • Easy Serviceability

Great SSD mount with a simple but thoughtful design

I recently upgraded my power supply and the new device's SATA cables were too thick to work with my old SSD mounts as the drives were too wide positioned close together with no clearance from the bottom of the mount. This sturdy little mount has eliminated those problems with an open floor and extra space. It's a simple thing, but you can tell it was designed by someone who was well acquainted with the shortcomings of other SSD mounts. Easy installation, keeps everything safe and tidy. Offers…

Pros
  • Confident
Cons
  • Not trendy
