They will NOT slip over F-connectors

These boots are custom made for RG-6 and 59 F-connectors. The boot only goes to the end of the fitting, so you have no weather protection on what the F-fitting connects to. They are useless to weatherproof any type of coaxial connection on the outside, I would never buy this product again.

Will not work with professional RG6 coax connectors

I would give 0 stars if I could. I have a high quality RG6 triple shielded OTA antenna cable. They have professional coax connectors, and those rubber boots barely fit over the cable and don't even get close to the connector. I installed an external antenna and actually waited for these boots before making coax cable. I wanted to protect the connectors from the elements as the antenna can withstand any storm. Not recommended.

Before installing the coaxial connector, it must be plugged onto the cable.

I have no reason to believe that these are nothing but high quality boots that will last many years outdoors and will protect the coax connector they close. However, Ancable (supplier) should clarify that you cannot use them on a pre-made coaxial cable (a cable that already has coaxial connectors on both ends). You MUST place a jacket over the bare wire and ONLY THEN connect the coaxial connector. Since I bought a ready-made coax cable, I had to send the boots back.
