I don't use it for its intended purpose - HVAC

I've spent a lot of time looking for something that could protect my work during shipping. Some materials designed directly to protect fragile surfaces have been expensive or heavy (significantly increased shipping weight), or both. So I decided to try this tape and evenly applied it to the edges of the pre-packaged canvas and made a grid on both sides. Works perfectly! I will buy more! And YES, I did not use this product for its intended purpose.

Sticky and durable building material cleaner

This tape filled some small air gaps and worked very well. Super sticky glue, so be gentle and careful when applying. It is best to start applying and slowly peel off the paper covering the sticky side. Cut to length towards the end, remove the last piece of paper and you should have a nice clean result. Time will tell how durable the foam tape is, but after a month it seems to be holding up well.

Might be good but don't believe them when they say you can use several of these for more thickness

White color is great. Adhesion to wood is excellent. But the question and answer above says you can use multiple of these to increase thickness. But when I did this, once the temp got below freezing, an extra layer or two (in some places I used two, in some places three) peeled off, they peeled off. So I think this is a good product for 1/8" spacing but not suitable for 1/4" or 3/8" spacing.
