Weaver Leather Neoprene Surcingle Lime: Premium Quality for Ultimate Support and Visibility Review

This is a good product but I had to use my long dressage girth with it because it doesn't fit my horse with the one provided. He's tall, has over 16 arms and a large girth like most TBs. Otherwise, Surcingle is a very good product. It is easy to clean, stretchable and adjustable.

I have an older horse that needs work on his topline and buttocks. I was pregnant and my friend said I could get one of these and use it off the ground to help him. At first he doesn't like it but after we did that he stands and walks under him much better. It is great. I've been using it on my horse and friends 3 times a week for 5 months now and apart from the dirt it looks brand new.

Good quality girth but runs small. I am using this on a 17 arm Thoroughbred and had to add a girth extension which is not the end of the world! The "saddle" part is thick and comfortable on my horses back, but the girth is thinner. I have always used fleece/soft girths on my horses so he tightened with the girth that came with the girth. The only thing I would add to this product would be rings on the strap to attach my pesoas to, but overall this is a great product!

What kind of pony is this suitable for? I have 15.2 QH in acceptable shape and can't get around it. How do I get the right extensions, which I don't have to buy by the way. They didn't advertise it as a pony ride. At least four inches. My horse is not overweight. Not very happy now. I had to spend $15+ just to renew. I really like this Surcingle. IT'S SMALL! It will fit my 2 year old stock colored mare but will NOT fit my 7 year stock gelding, and will not fit my 4 year old HUS gelding. But if you use it on a young horse then it should work. OR you can buy a nylon girth extender (on Amazon for $15) that will fit larger horses.
