My mare can have her own mind and take control if she feels you are not in full control, but even that puts her off. I thought that if I were to pull her face it would be better to do it without a snaffle so I still get the same result. Very happy with it and I know she prefers it too!

Cool Idea. I wish it was a little stiffer because it hangs a little low on my Arabian's nose and I had to lift the bridle a bit so it wasn't on the edge of his bone over his nose. I haven't had this problem with our sidepull, but the sidepull rings are IN my gelding's EYES, so it's MUCH BETTER!

All my beginners rode in a rope halter but I thought it would be better as they could practice putting on a "real" bridle. I have also paired it with a snaffle and it works well for my difficult horse. All-round great for tricky horses, DIY side pull, bit combinations and more.

It was exactly what I was looking for and I love it! I wanted to buy a side pull and not an expensive bitless bridle when I have a million unused head bindings lying around. That's great. I can use any headrest I want and come off a bit too.

This is the best I've ever gotten from Amazon! My horse is completely broken and doesn't even need a bit to be ridden. So when I came across this as an alternative to dentures I was very excited to try it. It turns out he not only loves it, but responds to it even better than a little. To say I'm thrilled is an understatement! I will definitely get more!

Like many bridleless bridles, this one is marketed as a "forgiving" way of riding, or at least "softer" than a bridle. It is not true. These knots hit. I love this product and give it five stars but want to make sure buyers understand that it is not gentle and you need to be careful and alert while driving. Needless to say, it works great. My very sensitive horse, "Brakes are optional", respects them without hesitation. I am very happy.

I wanted to do without a bridle for my horse because he was always very sensitive and responsive. The capsule is thick and has a good weight. I attached it to my existing head stand and it did a very good job. He even stopped shaking his head and throwing the reins. I've noticed that it doesn't really stay centered, but it could be my frenulum. Overall I would highly recommend it to bridleless riders and those wanting to try it out. Deserves more than 5 stars. I would highly recommend this nose piece over other options. There are crappy ones in our local stores that I would never use for fear of falling apart. I have a green broken freaky mustang that we adopted and my daughter wanted to go toothless with it (glad we did so baby queen wants something in your mouth?) The results are amazing. She responds so well with minimal pressure. quality quality quality! ! I will be ordering a few more so I don't have to keep switching

This is an amazing little oven mitt. I've always wanted to try bitless riding with my horse and this is definitely my path. It works with any headrest and your horse will love it! My horse responds 100% better with this nose piece than with the leash and feels much more comfortable and relaxed. I've never seen her enjoy the ride as much as after I started using this primer.
