Great value, great quality

I am very happy with this halter. I have a big four-legged gelding, with a bigger head. If he wants, he can lean back in his chair and snap the leather halter in a jiffy. This halter is VERY strong, very flexible, easy to adjust and has quality brass hardware. Every new halter I buy for everyday use in the future will be a Weaver Nylon halter. Many Thanks.

The best nylon halter on the market

Weaver has one of the best halters. The hardware is really good quality, the nylon is thick, bright colors that won't fade. I ordered a small burgundy halter for my 5 year old Rocky Mtn, she has a very narrow petite face like an Arabian, she only fits a pony, 1 year old Arabian, now this halter! I was worried it wouldn't fit, but it does and we love it. I wish they had made them yellow! But the Burgundy lived up to its image.

The best halters! best in other sports

I LOVE Weaver halter. I used them on my horse when he was weaned (15 years old) and had to buy a new one just because he had gotten too big or too dirty or faded to look good. This is the only halter brand he couldn't break (he was a bit aggressive during training), unlike DuMor (a tractor parts company) and similar brands. Other brands wear it large, Weaver wears it medium and the halter is adjustable so I can perfectly fit any horse I wear it on. I also like that they come in different…

Runs small, one size bigger!

Maybe our pony has a big head, but I don't think so. It's more of a Welsh Type B and only 12h. We bought a wean/pony size and wish I had a yearling size. The nose is large, but as you can see the cheeks are too short and can chafe through the buckles. I think we also have a crown on either the penultimate hole or the last hole. I don't have as many nylon halters as this one as we love rope halters but I wanted my daughter to have something easy to put on and take off but the neck clip was too…

Nice sturdy adjustable halter with good fit just very heavy

I bought one of these 3 years ago and it has held up well, after the first year the light green color has faded but it has still faded and held up well kept seams and accessories. After about 1.5 years the chin strap clip buckled and wouldn't close until I hammered it in. It was dodgy and was hit several times over the course of a year and a half, but it finally broke only a few days ago when patched with a hammer. The Revain price is currently higher than the online horse stores I have bought…
