Works perfectly! for equestrian sport

I bought this saddle for one of my pack saddles before we went to remote areas. Looks like it worked great, it's still around and doing well as we continue to do our annual backpacking trips.

Pros
  • Best in its niche
Cons
  • Almost never

Fell apart after the first ride.

I used this ONCE in ONE hour and this is what it looked like when I unsaddled my horse. Weaver is generally low quality so I was sadly surprised at the poor quality of this strap.

Pros
  • Lots of positive vibes
Cons
  • Weak

I love this harness good for other sports

My horse is very round and without withers. I've tried different types of straps and my saddle has always rocked from side to side. This is the only thing I found that holds the saddle in placeπŸ€—

Pros
  • Annual trial
Cons
  • I vaguely remember

Ideal as a sling for an injured dog!

I bought this item to use as a walking aid for a dog with a broken leg. That works great! Very comfortable yet durable. Gives good grip and is easy to grip. The vet suggested a towel or sheet, which didn't work too well.

Pros
  • practical item
Cons
  • I have no complaints about it, everything is fine

Comfortable and durable

I bought a saddleless pad that came with a very cheap pair of suspenders so I cut it off and used that instead and it works great. It didn't clump, it didn't pinch, and I've galloped and jumped in it, so I'd say it's holding up well and performing as promised.

Pros
  • Good product for the price
Cons
  • Expandable

Cheap and fell apart when I got it

Unfortunately this Weaver product, which is usually very good, fell apart when I put it on the saddle. Very thin and very poorly made. I've found that more and more companies are using cheaper materials, making products less efficient and useless. Worst of all I couldn't even get it back because I just missed the window.

Double check sizing

The girth is great and a solid piece of potholder. However, I ordered 34 inches and received 36 inches. Didn't notice at first just thought the sizing was wrong and wanted to return it and should be charged 50% of the original price for a return despite being a major contributor! So I changed my mind to just keep it and maybe I'll need it at some point when I realized the outer box said 34" and the item said 36"! When I found this out and contacted CS I was told the refund would be covered as…

  • Legacy

This is the second time I've bought one of these.

When I first bought the exact same straps they lasted about a year. I decided to buy another one because 2 strings broke. I thought the strings snapped because the saddle was in the shed and maybe rotted or something. I bought this and used it to ride kids in our ring. They didn't ride alone, but I led them by the hand several times. When I set the horse down, the straps were already frayed! I couldn't believe it! I have returned this item. I consider it a dangerous item. No adult has ever sat…
