🐴 Weaver Leather Snaffle Bit with Ring Review

Great item for the money! My horses both open their mouths for that! The o-rings are quite large but they are exactly what I wanted.

I tried different attachments with my 3 year old and he wasn't a fan of the one I got. Switched to this one and it works MUCH better! He still needs to get used to beats in general, but he doesn't play with them that much. VERY happy customer.

RUST*** Not bad but rusted after 2 uses in a week. Others have pointed this out, but I bought it to try anyway due to the cost. The horse worked fine so I went and bought a more expensive version to replace this one.

Happy with purchase. It's a nice weight and feel, my horse had no problems with it. However, it completely rusted through within 2 weeks and 3 or 4 uses. I haven't tried cleaning it, but I can't put it in a horse's mouth like that. I'm disappointed.

This is a great lure, I used it to get a 3 year old foal and he took to it very well. I switched him to a larger bridle and he didn't respond either. Switched it back to that beat and it worked much better. Although cheaper it's great and worth it, I've used it almost every day this summer and never seemed to wear out. The only downside is that it's pretty light and the rings are pretty big, but it still works.

This is my daily work. My horse hates the jointed snaffle but he does really well with this one. It's good quality and is said to taste good because my horse snaps it up every time I go in and put it in his mouth long before I put it in his mouth. Ideal for learning to collect. I will say be aware that it will change color very quickly (see photo) but this will not affect the quality of the bit. I've been using it for a year now and will be using it for a long time.
