Weaver Leather Silvertip Rope Halter Review

I love this halter and my horse loves it! She looks amazing in it and it helped her a lot with her studies! I like that there is no metal on it.

Works very well. The long reach and silver tip are great additions to the horse. Good material, very thick and is holding up very well so far (3 months).

This is a fantastic halter. I have been using what I consider to be a traditional metal finished halter for over 20 years. Now that I have this halter I will never reach for it again. The horse and I both love him.

I was pleased to see how stiff the halter is and it appears to be of good quality. I wouldn't attach a halter to a leash this way, but I think it will work. Just a note, the end where the leash attaches to the halter is knotted, and the very end is frayed a few inches as shown in the picture.

I bought this halter/leash as a cheaper alternative to 'hospital brand' kits and am very pleased! It works exactly how I hoped it would, replacing a wide-nosed rope halter and shorter leash for more control to keep my naughty filly's attention on the ground. If your horse is less sensitive you can omit the metal bar and third knot on the noseband, if the horse is fairly light this should work fine.
