My husband collects bedside tables and this is a feature. We love the design of the popup but it's a lot bigger than the listing. I can't talk to the function yet because it hasn't connected yet.

We installed this in our new conference table. We had to play around with some of the connections as they were cheaply made. However the box is perfect and our communications team have been able to upgrade some of the cables and we have had no issues. Love how everything is hidden and it also holds an HDMI cable.

I couldn't figure out why the screw tabs were so far from the front of the unit. When installed, it protrudes about 1/4 inch from the tabletop, not flush with it. The unit's screw hole tabs are positioned so that the bezel doesn't fit snugly in the box, so you've always had that gap - the design never made sense to me, and it doesn't make sense now that I've installed it.

The build quality is good but there is a pretty big design flaw in the bracket. They prevent the container surface from touching the worktop when closed. The default spacing is about a quarter of an inch. See pic #1. If you want it to sit flush you will need to cut some more on your table with a router or in my case a dremmel with a rotary sander tip (see pic 3). It was very difficult to align everything correctly and in the end there are too many other options for these products. Pass this.

For all the people who are worried about the installation problem, it's true that you need a little work to get this item on your desktop but if you have the skills To cut the hole for it, you can take additional steps to modify the hole so that the power supply sits flat on the table surface. You will need a jigsaw, 4 small screws, a hammer, a Phillips screwdriver and a chisel or sharp blade.
