The product works well but the previous owner's neglect of the glass surface is the reason this product may not have been able to restore the "GLASS" finish to the hob. It made it a little better, but I didn't expect it to fix the "cloudy, dull" burns on the burners. I'll probably have to use a buffer and sand to restore the glass finish.

A real cleaner/polish works just as well as any other hob liquid or cream; the cleaning pad is okay (but not quite as good as the Magic eraser, to be honest), but the scraper is useless - it doesn't hold a razor blade, which you need; it is a blunt piece of metal with a rounded edge. I can understand Weyman not wanting to sell anything that could damage the hob in the wrong hands; but I use a real single-sided razor in a holder when needed; and I have never damaged my hob.

This product works well and never stops. I also wanted to add a note as this seems to be a common issue that many people have in other reviews, the Razer Blade is stored backwards in a plastic handle. You have to unscrew it, twist the blade and screw it back in. I'm sure it's kept that way for security reasons, but some people seem to think the blunt, rounded edge is what they're supposed to be. scratch s. Pretty neat for the money! The only thing I would recommend is to bring a nice towel to buff the top.
